Master Waitlist Policies
At Valaurah Farms, our Master Waitlist is designed to help us thoughtfully match each puppy with the family where they are most likely to thrive. Rather than reserving a specific litter or puppy, your reservation secures your priority for future puppy placement opportunities.
Reservation Fee
A $500 non-refundable Reservation Fee reserves your place on the Valaurah Farms Master Waitlist.
Your Reservation Fee is applied toward the purchase price of your puppy.
The Reservation Fee reserves your place on the waitlist—it does not reserve a specific puppy, litter, sex, color, or go-home date.
Remaining on the Waitlist
We understand that life and timelines change.
You may pass on as many litters as you'd like.
Your Reservation Fee does not expire simply because time has passed, provided you remain in communication with us or your original timeline extends beyond that period.
If you decline an offered puppy, we'll make every effort to preserve your approximate place on the Master Waitlist for future litters.
Litter Notifications
When a litter is born that may be a good fit for you, we'll contact you using the information you've provided.
You'll have 72 hours to let us know whether you'd like to be considered for that litter.
If we don't hear from you within that time, we'll assume you'll be passing on that litter and will continue placing puppies with other waiting families.
Please keep your email address and phone number up to date so we can reach you.
Puppy Offers
Once the puppies have been evaluated and we're ready to begin placements:
If we offer you a puppy, you'll have 48 hours to accept or decline the offer.
Declining a puppy does not remove you from the Master Waitlist.
Purchase Price
Your Reservation Fee is credited toward your puppy's purchase price.
The remaining balance is due at the time your puppy goes home, as outlined in your Puppy Purchase Agreement.
Breeding Plans
All breeding plans, due dates, litter sizes, colors, and go-home dates are estimates. Nature doesn't always follow a schedule, and plans may change due to heat cycles, fertility, pregnancy, health considerations, or the Breeder's decision to make changes in the best interest of the dogs and the breeding program.
