What it’s like to be part of a Valaurah Farms litter is just as important as the puppies themselves.

The Experience

Bringing home a Valaurah puppy is more than just a pickup day — it’s a guided, transparent experience from the very beginning.

Once you join our waitlist, you’ll be invited into a private Facebook group created specifically for your litter.

This is where we share consistent updates throughout the entire raising process, including photos, videos, developmental milestones, and a behind-the-scenes look at how your puppies are being raised.

We typically post several times each week, giving you the opportunity to truly follow your puppy’s early development — not just through staged photos, but through real, day-to-day moments.

You’ll see how the puppies interact, how they respond to new environments, and how their individual personalities begin to emerge.

As the litter grows, we introduce structured early experiences that lay the foundation for confident, capable dogs.

This includes crate exposure, grooming introduction, car rides, problem-solving activities, and early socialization — all done thoughtfully and progressively.

At seven weeks, each puppy undergoes a structured temperament evaluation.

We provide detailed insights to help guide your decision, and selections are made in order of reservation fee.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose your puppy with as much guidance as you’d like — whether you want hands-on support or prefer to take the lead in your decision.

After puppies go home, the group remains active as a space for continued support, shared experiences, and connection.

Many of our families stay involved long-term, creating a community that extends well beyond those first eight weeks.

Families who join our program have the opportunity to follow along every step of the way.

Our Goals for this Litter

This litter was planned with a clear goal in mind — to produce a small number of truly versatile Standard Poodles.

We expect this pairing to produce a range of puppies, including select service prospects, sport and performance candidates, and one to two strong show prospects, alongside well-balanced and highly livable companion dogs.

The “how” behind this pairing is just as important as the outcome.

Magic brings high drive, excellent structure, and strong workability, consistently producing dogs who are capable, engaged, and ready to do more.

Hazel complements this with her titled accomplishments, proven workability, and successful offspring, paired with a calm, highly livable temperament. She offers the kind of stability and adaptability that allows her to settle easily into everyday life, while still being capable and willing when asked to engage.

Together, we expect puppies that are:

  • Eager and willing to engage

  • Social, outgoing, and people-oriented

  • Confident in new environments

  • Capable of activity, with a reliable “off switch” for daily life

Both Hazel and Magic are naturally social dogs who are friendly with strangers, good with children, and comfortable around other dogs. We also expect many puppies from this litter to enjoy water, as both parents demonstrate a strong natural affinity for it.

All puppies from this litter are expected to be exceptional companions. In addition, we will be identifying and placing those individuals who show the structure, focus, and drive to excel in service, sport, or show environments.

Meet the Parents

Both Magic and Hazel are fully titled, health-tested Standard Poodles with proven structure, temperament, and workability. This pairing brings together complementary traits to produce well-rounded, capable dogs suited for a variety of homes.

Performance • Structure • Drive

Magic brings exceptional structure, athleticism, and drive to this pairing. He is highly trainable, confident, and thrives in performance environments. His extensive titles across multiple venues reflect both his physical ability and mental engagement, and he consistently produces puppies with strong work ethic and engagement.

Temperament • Stability • Proven Production

Hazel brings balance, stability, and proven temperament to this pairing. She is highly adaptable — content to relax when needed, yet eager and capable when asked to work. Hazel is titled, demonstrates strong workability, and has produced offspring known for their versatility and livability and a strong foundation for both working and companion homes..

What We Expect From This Litter

We expect this litter to produce puppies suited for a variety of homes, including performance, sport, service, and well-matched companion placements. Each puppy is evaluated individually and placed based on temperament, structure, and long-term suitability.

Our Placement Process

We expect this litter to produce puppies suited for a variety of homes, including performance, sport, service, and well-matched companion placements. Each puppy is evaluated individually and placed based on temperament, structure, and long-term suitability.

What Your Puppy Goes Home With

Every puppy is sent home with:

• Snuggle Puppy for comfort and transition
• Blanket with litter scent
• Slicker brush for early grooming
• Calming support aid
• Long-lasting chew (bully stick, buffalo horn, or similar depending on availability)
• Age-appropriate toys
• Cedar chips to support continued potty training

• AKC registration (prepaid and delivered digitally)
• Complete veterinary record
• Tummy care kit including dewormer and Pro-Pectalin
• Sample bag of current food

  • Microchipping with Fi Nano or AKC Reunite Microchips

We currently feed Purina Pro Plan Lamb & Rice All Life Stages, and puppies are well-established on this diet prior to going home.

How Your Puppy Is Prepared Before Going Home

Equal importance is placed on how each puppy is raised and developed during their time with us.

Each puppy is given a strong foundation through early, intentional exposure, including:

• Early neurological stimulation (ENS) and early scent introduction (ESI)
• Daily handling and structured socialization
• Early grooming exposure and handling tolerance
• Crate introduction and foundational independence
• Car rides and exposure to new environments
• Introduction to problem-solving and engagement
• Learning how to appropriately take treats and interact with people
• Early potty training using a dog door and cedar chip transition system
• Ongoing observation and temperament evaluation

Health & Veterinary Care

All puppies receive age-appropriate veterinary care prior to going home, including:

• Bordetella at 3 weeks
• Neopar at 4 weeks
• First DHPP at 6 weeks
• Veterinary exam at 7 weeks

Puppies go home at 8 weeks.
If a puppy remains until 9 weeks, they will receive their second DHPP prior to going home.

The goal is not just to send home a puppy, but to provide a well-prepared, confident dog with a foundation that supports long-term success in their new home.

Pricing, Availability & Reservation List

Puppies from this litter are priced at $2,950.

This reflects the level of health testing, structured raising, and ongoing support provided through our program.

Reservations are accepted following an approved application, and a non-refundable reservation fee is required to secure your place in selection order.

At approximately seven weeks of age, each puppy undergoes temperament evaluation. Based on these evaluations, we provide guidance on each puppy’s individual strengths, tendencies, and best-fit homes.

Families then make their selections in order of reservation, with as much guidance as desired. Some families prefer detailed recommendations, while others choose more independently — we support both approaches.

Our goal is to ensure each placement is thoughtful, informed, and aligned for long-term success.

We prioritize homes that are prepared, committed, and aligned with the goals of this litter.

There are currently four available pick positions. I anticipate these coveted puppies to be quickly reserved, so do not hesitate to apply.
